Malnutrition & death due to malnutrition are reduced by 67% in adopted villages. 
'Muskan', when born as a premature baby girl, was smaller than a palm. Her mother could not hold her. After treatment under MAHAN Home Based Child Care (HBCC) programme, Muskan grew into a healthy girl. To read more about such success stories, please click here.

  • Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) CSR hub, Guide Star & Credibility Alliance accredited ‘MAHAN’ for Thematic & Geographic competency & credibility & empanelled for receiving CSR funds

  • MAHAN is registered under FCRA & entitled to received donations from foreign countries. FCRA reg. No.- Social - 084000035.

You may provide food grains, which can be used for distribution, though our long term aim is to make Melghat self sustainable for which we are developing kitchen Gardens & Nutrition farms. At MAHAN we make diet as per WHO guidelines & distribute it. Approximately 24000 kg of food grains ( sum of Wheat, Pulses, Rice, Groundnut etc.) can fulfill the diet requirement of 500 malnourished children for 100 days.
