Projects you can fund
- Nutritional diet for severely malnourished children — made as per WHO guidelines; ₹1,198 for 15 days, ₹2,935 for 30 days, ₹7,184 for 90 days, ₹14,368 for 6 months and ₹35,220 for 1 year per child. About 24,000 kg of food grains can fulfil the diet of 500 malnourished children for 100 days. More
- Home Based Child Care — trained tribal women treat children under 5 for acute respiratory infections, diarrhoea, malaria, severe malnutrition, neonatal sepsis and birth asphyxia. More
- Mahatma Gandhi Tribal Hospital and Critical Care Unit, Utavali — critical care where the nearest hospital was more than 150 km from most villages. More
- Surgery free of cost — plastic, general and gynecology.
- Blindness control — eye surgery and eye care in Melghat, where blindness is higher than in the rest of India. More
- Kitchen gardens and nutrition farms in tribal families’ back yards and fields. More
- Treatment, staff salaries and the corpus fund — for MAHAN’s long-term sustainability.
